With two hours of surfing tuition from Cressey’s Surf Academy, you’ll love improving your board skills – whether you’re a surfing connoisseur or a novice on the waves. Approximately half an hour from the Vale Resort, Cressey’s Surf Academy is headed by South African Surfing Champion Ingemar Cressey and is a mobile school based on the beaches near to Porthcawl, South Wales.

And after enjoying the Welsh waves, you can return to the Vale Resort, playing 18 holes of championship golf on the challenging course The Wales National, which at 7,433 yards is one of the longest golf courses in the UK.

Just one hour from Bristol and 3 minutes from J34 of the M4, a golf and surf break at the Vale Resort is a great way to enjoy some of South Wales’ natural beauty this summer.
