Reception Supervisor

A four-star resort delivering five-star service levels, the Vale Resort comprising of a 143 bedroom hotel with five food outlets, two championship golf courses, Wales’ largest spa, health and racquets club.

Due to exceptional demand, we are looking to increase our team at the resort and are currently recruiting for a Reception Supervisor.

Working within the Resort you will support and assist the Reception Manager ensuring the reception team maintains the Resort's service standards.

Main duties include:

Lead reception shifts as required and maintain reception operating standards and structure.
Assist in handling guest complaints ensuring all are dealt with swiftly and professionally.
Monitor the team's performance, identifying training needs and providing guidance when necessary.
To cover the responsibilities of the Reception Manager in their absence and provide cover for Duty Managers and Night Managers when required.
Ensuring the team are fully trained in briefing guests on the resort facilities and up-selling
Assist with managing the concierge team ensuring reception assist when necessary

The ideal candidate will previous experience of working in the hospitality industry, must be a team player committed and driven to achieve high standards and departmental goals, along with being a motivator and be able to stay calm under pressure. Supervisory experience is essential.

The role requires flexibility to work between the hours of 6 am-11 pm.
