Vale Clinic on-site physiotherapy
Maintaining a healthy workforce is vital in order to maximise productivity and reduce sickness and absence. Given the varied roles that the employees undertake, it is an unfortunate consequence that injuries may occur. For staff, who are unable to perform their work due to physical incapacity will enter a cycle of reduced strength and mobility leading to greater pain and further reduction in function. This can lead to increased pressure of work on their colleagues with its concomitant detrimental effects. The aim of The Vale Clinic's managed care program is to interrupt that cycle early in order to return your staff to their role as quickly as is possible. In situations where that may not be possible, we are able to fast track patients to one of our consultant surgeons or physicians specialising in the relevant area.
The proposed scheme of therapy support is flexible and can be tailored to the requirements of the company and financial budgets. The Vale Clinic clinicians are experienced in providing on site services liasing with existing occupational health services. This can often include workplace assessment, ergonomics, and best practice assessment for repetitive or heavy tasks. Lectures and talks on back care and healthy posture in the workplace can also be arranged for staff.
