Vale Clinic

Spinal Clinic

At the Vale Spinal Clinic we are dedicated to helping people of all ages with spinal conditions, to lead pain free, healthy lives again. Our commitment to a caring, compassionate patient-physician relationship is one of the keys to our success. The Spinal Clinic offers comprehensive cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine care based on techniques and procedures proven to be safe and effective. The Vale Spinal Clinic uses an integrated multi-disciplinary team approach to focus on your individual needs. This approach combines patient education and rehabilitation with advanced diagnostic and surgical techniques.

On your first visit to the Spine Clinic, and in-depth interview is conducted by one of the spinal consultants to review your complete spine and medical history. During this initial consultation, clear and open communication is of the utmost importance.

Treatment modalities are determined after a thorough review of your history, your present symptoms, the findings of your physical examination and the results of all diagnostic testing.

Your treatment program will begin with the most conservative measures feasible. Most of our patients respond to one or more of the conservative modalities we employ, which include physical therapy and conditioning, bracing, behaviour modification and theraputic pain blocks. Medications are used as necessary to facilitate effective rehabilitation.

For a small percentage of patients who do not respond to the Spine Clinic's conservative care, a wide range of safe and effective surgical techniques are available. These range from minimally invasive procedures to complex spinal reconsruction. The Spine Clinic's medical staff have a reputation for consistently good results even when dealing with some of the most challenging spinal conditions.

  • Sacroiliac joint injection
  • Lumbar epidural injection
