The sports injuries clinic is staffed by chartered physiotherapists trained to MSc degree level in sports injury rehabilitation and therapy. They provide physiotherapy services and consultation to both the Olympic and world championship squads as well as many individual athletes. As well as treating the specific injury they also work closely with consultant surgeons, coaches and other support staff.

The Clinic aims to provide a complete sports injury package encompassing assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and advice. The initial assessment is made by the sports physiotherapist. If and when appropriate, an early referral will be made to other specialist clinicians for further advice and management. During the initial assessment, individual sport-specific rehabilitation programmes are discussed and implemented to optimise recovery time. The clinicians will liaise with the patient's coach or trainer when appropriate.
