Your wedding day, one of the most memorable events of your life, is about to take place. You want it to be perfect from start to finish - the weather, the wedding ceremony, the flowers, the wedding reception, the speeches, the evening function, the honeymoon. Whilst we cannot guarantee the success of all of the above, by choosing the Vale Hotel you can rest in the knowledge that your wedding ceremony, wedding reception and evening function will be perfect in every way.

From the moment your wedding car arrives and you step out onto the red carpet, our experienced staff will be on hand to ensure your special day will be perfect in every way.

Our wedding co-ordinator will be delighted to advise and assist you with everything you need to ensure that your wedding reception runs without a hitch. From your personal choice of menu - with dishes from Wales or around the world - and seating plans to the evening entertainment and any other special requirements you may desire.

You will find our catering options almost limitless. Our menu selector allows you to choose the meal that best suits you, your guests and of course your budget. A variety of drink packages are also available.

The beautiful landscaped gardens and stunning backdrop of the South Wales countryside provide the most idyllic and photogenic setting for your wedding day. With great transport links to Cardiff, Cardiff airport and the whole of South Wales, it's easy to see why The Vale Hotel, Golf and Spa Resort proves such a popular choice for that special day.

Wedding Ceremonies
We also have a wedding licence enabling you to get married at the hotel. We can accommodate wedding parties from 20 to 220. Our choice of function suites enables you to choose a room that suits your ideal day, from small and intimate to a larger gathering.

Function Rooms
With a choice of function rooms we ensure that parties from 30 - 400 are equally well catered for. The Castle Suite is suitable for wedding parties up to 400 whilst the Morgannwg and Trecastell Suites are perfect for parties up to 300. The Hensol, Pendoylan and Dyffryn Suites are ideal for smaller weddings, providing a more intimate setting.

Castle Suite
Hosting its own bar, this main function room is able to accommodate up to 400 guests for a lavish wedding breakfast. Doors open onto a large tiled terrace with tranquil views overlooking the Lake golf course.

Morgannwg Suite
This is a very attractive room with doors opening onto a terrace area and sweeping staircase that leads you and your guests to the stunning gardens and patio below.

Trecastell Suite
This room has its own private entrance and bar facility allowing you to be totally secluded - if you so wish. The room can be transformed with the clever use of lighting to give a real fairytale setting.

Cowbridge Lounge
Holding up to 80 people this room is just perfect for a civil wedding ceremony or an intimate wedding breakfast.

Salamanza Bar & Conservatory
This champagne bar and conservatory is an idilic setting for your special day with seating for up to 60 guests affording superb views over the championship golf course.
