The Vale Hotel, Golf and Spa Resort

The Vale Hotel, Golf and Spa Resort has completed phase two of its £1million development and expansion programme by opening the doors to it's new brasserie style restaurant, the Vale Bar & Grill.

With invaluable input from Welsh celebrity chef and S4C TV host, Dudley Newbury, the Resort's latest culinary addition celebrates the very essence of it's Welsh family owners by championing the use of locally sourced, fresh produce to create a menu that combines the cosmopolitan edge of the resort with the traditional freshness.

Wayne Tapscott, Head Chef at the Vale Resort speaks of the new menu:

“We have been lucky enough to work closely with one of Wales' top chefs to bring the best of Welsh back to our culinary offering here at the Resort. The new menu is designed to emulate the traditional elements of home-cookery with an added touch of innovation from our chef's to create an unforgettable dining experience for our guests.”

From traditional Cawl, made with succulent Welsh lamb, to homemade fishcakes to award winning Welsh black beef steaks and tender pieces of braised beef in a Welsh steak and ale pie, the Vale Bar & Grill takes advantage of the best that Wales has to offer by selecting hand-picked ingredients from the impressive range available on its doorstep.

The opening of the new restaurant marks the completion of an eight month period of redevelopment at the Vale Resort which saw one of south Wales' largest conference centres erected linking the existing hotel to it's award winning Health & Racquets Club.
